Another day without a walk or run. Just too much going on, I guess. I could have probably fit a quick one in at dusk, but didn't.
Day 30 of South Beach Diet
Breakfast: egg over medium and two strips of precooked bacon
Lunch at Jason's baseball season-end party: grilled chicken, dill pickles, iceberg lettuce, 1 slice of tomato, 1 hotdog (no bun), baked beans (with as much sauce strained as possible - the sauce had brown sugar in it)
Dinner: spicy hummus eaten with cucumbers, celery, and portabella mushrooms
Drink: water all day
It was really tough hanging out at the baseball party with nothing to do and with a huge potluck full of high carb food. I wanted chips and brownies.
We're headed to Nebraska this week and only have 3 full days to get ready and packed. I don't even know what I'm wearing to the reunion party. Ken is taking care of the laundry tonight and then we'll have to pack tomorrow and Tuesday. We also have baseball camp, volleyball camp, and swimming Monday and Tuesday. We won't have time for anything on Wednesday since we'll have a late swim meet that night and then getting up early to catch the plane on Thursday. It will be a whirlwind before vacation so I'm really looking forward to things slowing down a little while we are in Nebraska.
